The fact is, gun owners in Ohio are more organized and mobilized than ever before in Ohio history.

Also for the first time in Ohio history, gun owners are mobilizing as a political fighting force in targeted primary races, eager to expose and hold accountable any politician who either outright voted for gun control or who refused to fight for gun owners!

But DeWine is hell bent on passing his gun-control agenda.

You see, Mike DeWine has made a life-long career out of attacking gun rights:

➜➜ He is the only Republican US Senator ever to be endorsed by the Brady Campaign.

➜➜ He was named among the Top 10 anti-gun U.S. Senators by Human Events, because he was “consistently the only Republican to speak in favor of anti-2nd Amendment legislation on the Senate floor.”

➜➜ He joint-authored the reintroduction of the Clinton Gun Ban in 2004 with California Senator Diane Feinstein.

➜➜ He even voted to allow gun control organizations to sue firearms manufacturers!

Now facing a brutal reelection campaign in 2022, DeWine is desperate to cement his legacy of destruction of our freedoms by passing his massive gun-control bill in the remainder of 2020 – before the 2022 campaigns season gets under way.

That’s why Mike DeWine and Jon Husted have launched a brand new “dark money” gun control organization called “Standing By Ohio.”

Funded likely by the vast wealth DeWine and Husted have accumulated from their decades of “public service,” the organization is spending tens of thousands of dollars on sponsored social media posts and postal mailers, urging people to contact their senators and demand passage of their gun control bill!

But how do we know DeWine is bankrolling “Standing By Ohio?”

Cincinnati.com reports:

“Standing By Ohio Inc. was incorporated in Virginia on Aug. 21 – weeks before DeWine announced the details of his gun plan – by James Tyrrell III, a Republican lawyer based in Washington, D.C.

The group was set up as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, which can receive unlimited contributions and does not need to disclose its donors. Political activity is supposed to be limited, but the IRS has done little to enforce that, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Tyrrell also formed Protecting Ohio Inc., a 501(c)(4) nonprofit that paid for mailers supporting DeWine’s daughter, Alice, in her race for Greene County prosecutor. 

Standing By Ohio’s website is hosted on the same IP address as pro-Mike DeWine dark money group Securing Ohio’s Future; Alice DeWine’s campaign page and the pro-Alice DeWine Protecting Ohio.”

The fact of the matter, [name deleted], is that Mike DeWine and Jon Husted are ramping up their efforts to go ALL-IN to pass their gun-control agenda.

And we need to fight back harder now than we ever have before!
