We have confirmed that the Willoughby Eastlake Superintendent, Mr. Steve Thompson, has accepted a new position in the Akron School District and will be leaving the district on August 22nd.
We wish Mr. Thompson good luck, and great success in his new position.
This puts quite a burden on the new school board members since they are also processing applications to fill the recently vacated school board member seat, and working on budget cuts in case the renewal property tax levy does not pass in November.
From what we have seen so far, the remaining school board members are certainly up to the challenge.
