Concord Township’s Bob Patterson Wants to Lower Property Taxes for Seniors

Brian Massie, Citizen Journalist

Joe Miller’s Buckeye School Podcast invited Mr. Bob Patterson of Concord Township, located in Lake County, to discuss his ideas about helping seniors in Ohio. Mr. Patterson has worked with State Representative Diane Grendell to create legislation that would stop seniors from paying any additional property taxes when they reach 70 years of age.

We thank Mr. Patterson for his efforts on behalf of seniors, and LFC has committed to helping Mr. Patterson to “get his message” out to Lake County seniors. We have stated many times: If we stay on our current path of ever-increasing property taxes, we will price seniors and those living on fixed incomes out of their homes that they have worked all their lives to achieve.

I’ve served clients in 23 states with life, health, long term care, Medicare Parts C and D, supplemental insurance and a guaranteed product called a Fixed Index Annuity.

The cornerstone to retirement planning is using guaranteed products that are designed to protect your nest egg from market downside problems. These products have no fees or commission costs. Fixed Index Annuities can also provide a guaranteed income for life! During the 2008-09 financial meltdown not one of my clients lost any money. In fact, their returns from their Fixed Index Annuities ranged from 2% to 18.5% You can NEVER lose money in a Fixed Index Annuity and every year the annuity is reset to the higher value.

You spent your life accumulating money for retirement. Let me help you plan how to spend it and maximize your Social Security benefits.
