At this point, we all need to put pressure on our House Rep, All of the House Health Committee members, the Speaker of the House and the Senate President.
We have to let them know that we support HB 248 in it’s current language.
We will not tolerate them passing a worthless bill that only somewhat protects some people for a limited amount of time.
Remind them that HB248 is “THE PEOPLE’S BILL’. This is what Ohioans want– and Ohioans expect those who represent them to vote according to the people of Ohio’s wishes–not the interests of corporations.
Citizens United may have classified corporations as people, but it is we the people who cast our votes–not corporations.
Remind them that every day, more and more people are realizing just how important Medical Freedom is and that for some people it is their ONLY issue and that for those people, they will ONLY vote for politicians who genuinely support medical freedom and who PUBLICLY support HB248.
So ask them to please sign the discharge petition that the bill’s sponsor Jennifer Gross, pro-vaccine family nurse practitioner, has submitted.
Remind them that they need to go down to the Clerk’s office and sign the discharge petition.
If 50 House Reps sign the discharge petition, then the bill can go to the House floor for a vote by the entire house.
Amendments can be made on the House floor.
