Clash of the Titans!…Lake County Commissioner Candidates

We are looking forward to following the races for the two Lake County Commissioners’ seats. LFC is trying to stay totally independent by offering a platform to any candidate running for a Lake County office.

Mr. Morris Beverage III (the son), and Willowick Mayor Rich Regovich will be competing for the 2-year seat currently held by Commissioner John Plecnik.

The winner of the Republican race will then face off against the Democrat stalwart, Maureen Kelly.

The 4- year Commissioner seat, currently held by Commissioner Ron Young, has been conceded in the Republican primary to Commissioner John Plecnik. [Regovich was thrown under the bus by the Party, and forced to go up against Beverage (the son)].

In the November, 2022 election, Commissioner John Plecnik will do battle against a very formidable opponent, Mr. Adam Dudziak of Mentor. This should be a very interesting race since a brash Commissioner Plecnik said: “If I can’t beat Dudziak, I don’t deserve to be Commissioner”. LFC gets the feeling that Mr. Dudziak isn’t one that will back down! Game on!
