LFC Comments by Brian Massie, Executive Director
We received the following comments from a Willoughby resident. The resident takes issue with the leader of the Lake County Republican Party being political with a non-partisan school board. We have edited the Willoughby Eastlake School Board meeting held on February 14, 2022 to show only Dale Fellows speaking to the Board.

If you haven’t seen the latest W-E School Board meeting video (2-14-21) I would suggest viewing starting at 41:30. Mr. Fellows tries to sneak a little politics into a non partisan public board meeting during public comments portion. Suggesting that the board should publicly recognize elected politicians in the audience and criticizing the length of pauses between words when reciting the pledge of allegiance.
REALY???
Have they no shame?

Does this mean that any time a Republican or Democrat elected official is in a public setting they must be recognized as a “special guest”? We thought that they are to be considered public servants not royalty.
We will let our readers decide if Dale Fellows is “out of bounds” with wanting his fellow Republicans to be recognized by the School Board if they happen to attend their meetings.
