Caballing Cowards, Menacing Moral-less Miscreants

As many of you know, I look at our present through the mirrors of history. Foundationally speaking, we are now a nation of three-hundred million people in fifty States and fourteen territories. Interestingly we were initially a nation of three million in the thirteen Founding States. So the population in the United States is one-hundred time that of 1776 and ‘caballing cowards’ and ‘menacing moral-less miscreants’ are being fully exposed now as they were in the founding era.

The historical words quoted here should be taken in context then and now. The quotes and the principles stated in them are applicable at every level of governance across these United States. I will make my emphasis in the historical quotes with bold italics. I make no apologies for the length of this article.

So before I get to the Ohio Republican Party (ORP) State Central Committee, the Ohio Governor and Lt. Governor, the Secretary of State and the Ohio Legislative and Judicial branches; well OK, all the bureaucrats and all lesser political elements in Ohio alone; let me make a quick mention of a large number of the pulpits in Ohio and across the nation. I want to be clear that my admonishment is to not all pulpits but most, if not the majority, which fall into the realm of not having knowledge of or understanding of foundational Biblical truth or history (see – Barna: “Pastor’s Losing Credibility”). With this lack of credibility, the people in the majority of churches, as well as the politicians or bureaucrats that attend, are destroyed. Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.’

Wow, no wonder the school system is so messed up, but that is a topic for another day.

Let me set the groundwork for partially excusing the caballing cowards and menacing moral-less miscreants. As I say at the beginning of all of my radio programs; ‘the Anti-federalists Got It Right.’ In this case, they clearly identified that the pulpits would not do their jobs in producing ‘a moral and virtuous/religious people’ from where political leaders can be selected. Those pastors and theologians who have rejected or selectively acknowledge portions of: Nicholas von Amsdorff, Beza, Rutherford, Knox, Calvin, Augustin, Althusius, Bullinger, Laski, Melanchton, Zwingli and other early Reformers; do not engage in the Biblical dominion mandate. With the lack of this knowledge and the basic understanding of those writers, the true Biblical teaching of God as ‘Sovereign’ over culture and politics is meaningless. Lacking said knowledge and understanding, the responsibility of knowing the doctrine of the ‘lesser magistrates’ is unheard of in modern church and political parlance.

Therefore the elected and bureaucrats act as the ‘sovereigns unto themselves’ imposing their own will and moral-less miscreant cabals with factious actions upon the citizenry. Hence the tyranny imposed on the Citizens of Ohio and in the larger context, these United States.

Caballing Cowards

Our Founders understood the teaching of the ‘lesser magistrate’ because they studied the early Reformers and knew that they must answer to the ‘Sovereignty of God’ in all of their decisions, personal and in respect to being elected or appointed to office. In his 1574 work, ‘On The Rights of Magistrates,’ Beza present the very first question and answer to what is not taught or understood in our present age;

‘Question 1. Must Magistrates always be obeyed as unconditionally as God?

Inasmuch as only the will of almighty God is the eternal and immutable Rule of all Justice, we declare that it must be unconditionally obeyed. However, as regards the obedience due to Princes, they too would doubtless have to be obeyed, always and unconditionally, if they ruled constantly in accordance with the utterance of God. Since, however, theirs is often the contrary case, such obedience must be made subject to the following condition: namely, that they command nothing impious, nothing unjust. I call impious or sinful those which God forbids in the First Tablet of His Law, or which forbid those which God commands there. However, I call unjust behests, those which either prevent or forbid the performance of that which every man, in accordance with his calling — either public or private — is bound to render to his neighbor in charity.’

Now if our elected, judges and bureaucrats understood this; do you think they would legislate, adjudicate and regulate differently?

Instead, we have to consider in this extracted quote what Sam Adams wrote about those who were political power players and business persons affecting the liberty of the Citizenry. A 1769 article signed ‘Alfred,’

‘..But tho the colonies were so well dispos’d towards the mother country, it must not be forgot that there was a cursed Cabal, principally residing in this town, who having been disappointed in their expectations of the sweets of the stamp-act (or any favorable legislation), were perpetually intriguing to bring about another parliamentary tax-act; for no other purpose than that they might feast and fatten themselves upon the spoils and plunder of the people and I am persuaded the nation would not have been so impolitick as to have pass’d another revenue act for the colonies so soon after the confusion which the stamp-act had occasioned on both sides the water, had not this Cabal found means to induce the men in power at home to believe, that the opposition to that act was “a faction”; that raged indeed for a while, but was then an “expiring faction”; and that the generality of the people, now under the influence of the “better sort”, and those whom they were pleased to call the “friends of government” who “feared GOD and honor d the King”, were become perfectly reconciled to the measure, and the experiment might be tried with safety and success – What a pity it is that great men are so ready to yield implicit faith to the idle reports of their tools and dependents, in matters that concern the welfare of millions, and the very existence of states! But great men are not always wise! and we may safely add from the experience of the world, that they are not always good.’

Now I hope that as you read the quote you are able to connect the majority of the ORP State Central Committee, Governor DeWine and his Lt. Governor as well as all the others mention in the second paragraph with the historical ‘Cabal’ that Sam wrote about. Yet this next article that Sam wrote really resonated with me as I thought about all the establishment cowards and their co-faction political class, elected and bureaucrats, in the Ohio Republican leadership. Please now add to the list the business leaders that are there for power and greed. Consider this longer quote which originally applied to the non-importation agreement but the principles here apply to our present State and National condition,

‘The agreement of the Merchants(large donors, lobbyists and special interests)of this distressed and insulted continent, to with hold importations from Great Britain (China and other un-fair trade partners), it seems to be allowed on all sides, has the strongest tendency towards the repeal of the acts of parliament(US Federal Government/Bureaucracies)for raising a revenue in America(Ohio)without our with establishment swamp consent. It is no wonder then, that it was opposed with so much vehemence at first, by the Cabal; who knew full well, that their Places and their Pensions, and all the delectable profits which they expected to reap, and are now actually reaping, at the expence of the people in town and country, would entirely cease, if these acts, by the means of which their places, pensions and profits arise should be repealed—When they could no longer with any face call it the last efforts of a dying faction, (for the measure was so rational and pacific, that it soon spread far and wide, and was chearfully adopted by all disinterested friends of the country thro’-out the continent) they put on the appearance of the Sons of Liberty; and now their cry is, Where is that Liberty so much boasted of and contended for? We hear them very gravely asking, Have we not a right to carry on our own trade and sell our own goods if we please? who shall hinder us?

(From the Cabal) This is now the language of those who had before seen the ax laid at the very root of all our Rights with apparent complacency,—And pray gentlemen, Have you not a right if you please, to set fire to your own houses, because they are your own, tho’ in all probability it will destroy a whole neighbourhood, perhaps a whole city! Where did you learn that in a state or society you had a right to do as you please? And that it was an infringement of that right to restrain you? This is a refinement which I dare say, the true sons of liberty despise. Be pleased to be informed that you are bound to conduct yourselves as the Society with which you are joined, are pleased to have you conduct, or if you please, you may leave it. It is true the will and pleasure of the society is generally declared in its laws: But there may be exceptions, and the present case is without doubt one.—Suppose there was no law of society to restrain you from murdering your own father, what think you? If either of you should please to take it into your head to perpetrate such a villainous act, so abhorrent to the will of the society, would you not be restrained? And is the Liberty of your Country of less importance than the life of your father! But what is most astonishing is, that some two or three persons of very little consequence in themselves, have Dared openly to give out that They Will vend the goods they have imported, tho’ they have Solemnly pledg’d Their Faith to the body of merchants, that they should remain in store ’till a general importation should take place!

Where then is the honor! where is the shame of these persons, who can look into the faces of those very men with whom they have contracted, & tell them Without Blushing that they are resolved to Violate the contract! Is it avarice? Is it obstinacy, perverseness, pride, or from what root of bitterness does such an unaccountable defection from the laws of honor, honesty, and even humanity spring? ‘

Menacing Moral-less Miscreants

This is simple. All those who are mentioned in the opening second paragraph and inclusive of the donor class, lobbyists as well as the special interests are ‘moral-less miscreants’ menacing all Liberty loving citizens. It all reflects back on the pulpits, who are culpable in the malfeasance of these individuals and entities. Therefore, the citizens suffer by their ‘lack of knowledge’ and the Caballing factions.

I want to leave you with this from Sam Adams in 1772,

‘Is it not High Time for the People of this Country explicitly to declare, whether they will be Freemen or Slaves? It is an important Question which ought to be decided. It concerns us more than any Thing in this Life. The Salvation of our Souls is interested in the Event: For wherever Tyranny is establish’d, Immorality of every Kind comes in like a Torrent. It is in the Interest of Tyrants to reduce the People to Ignorance and Vice. For they(the Cabals)cannot live in any Country where Virtue and Knowledge prevail. The Religion and public Liberty of a People are intimately connected; their Interests are interwoven, they cannot subsist separately; and therefore they rise and fall together. For this Reason, it is always observable, that those who are combin’d to destroy the People’s Liberties, practice every Art to poison their Morals. How greatly then does it concern us, at all Events, to put a Stop to the Progress of Tyranny. It is advanced already by far too many Strides. We are at this moment upon a precipice. The next step may be fatal to us. Let us then act like wise Men; calmly look around us and consider what is best to be done. Let us converse together upon this most interesting Subject and open our minds freely to each other. Let it be the topic of conversation in every social Club. Let every Town assemble. Let Associations & Combinations be everywhere set up to consult and recover our just Rights.

“The Country claims our active Aid. That let us roam; & where we find a Spark Of public Virtue, blow it into Flame.”

The very last thought, for now, is to be mindful that Governor DeWine took his ‘Oath of Office’ on nine Bibles.(see the article: 2-13-21 Gov. DeWine – Open Letter – 9 Books To Perdition) Yet he has ruled, not served or lead, as a servant of the evils protracted by the elite Caballing Moral-less Miscreants in his political party and conspiring with the core establishment of the democrat party. In no way has he, his Lt. Governor or his appointed bureaucrats acted in a manner that is representative of Biblical political leadership. Worse, not with any true Constitutional leadership. With the Governor, the Speaker of the Ohio House and Senate President have violated their Oath of Office by matching the same lack of understanding that they are to serve first, the Living God, The People and the Constitutions of Ohio and these United States..

An admonishment to all who are elected and appointed as bureaucrats, those that have taken an ‘Oath of Office’ – remember – ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.’ Galations 6:7

The Citizens Challenge

The Citizenry is exhorted to the following:

• Repent of our personal sins and acknowledge the sovereignty of God over us, our families, our belongings, our culture our politics and our nation.
• Pray for repentance of our communities, counties, state and nation in respect to all the violations that Beza clearly identified as quoted above.
• Pray that our elected, bureaucrats and pastors will come under the sovereignty of the God of the Bible and then will lead by God’s justice not human contrived social justice deception.
• We all must seek and learn our foundational truth and principles so as to ensure our Liberty is preserved now and for our posterity.
• Vet to Elect. A meaningful Constitutional Vetting Process must be accomplished on all candidates for offices as well as political / bureaucratic appointees.
