Perhaps it is the ‘old bean counter’ in me, but I think it is important when a political sub-division does receive an Award from the State’s Auditor.  If we take the time to chastise political sub-divisions for their poor performance, it is equally as important to remember to commend the political sub-divisions when they are doing a good job..

So congratulations to Gary Platko, Treasurer and CFO of Riverside Schools, and Jim Kalis, District Superintendent, for their leading efforts in obtaining this Award.
