Lake County’s population is aging, and by 2030 one-third of legal residents will be over 60 years of age. Many of our seniors are facing food and housing insecurity, in addition to abuse and neglect issues that need to be addressed.  Funds are limited so it is our opinion that we need to ensure our tax $ are spent wisely, and directly on those most in need. Here is our recommendation to the Lake County Administrator and the Lake County Commissioners for disbursement of Senior Levy funds for 2018.
