For the balance of the week, the Lake County Board of Elections is holding a “mock election” on three different computerized voting machines under consideration for future elections. They are looking for volunteers to practice voting on all three machines and provide input on which system you prefer.
Our Board of Elections, headed by Ross McDonald and Jan Clair, have a great group of workers that do a tremendous job, not only at election time, but with the planning, coordination, and education that is required through out the year.
If you can spare 20 – 30 minutes of your day, we are asking that you help our Board of Elections with this project. They are located on the first floor of the County Administration building in Painesville.
