It confirms what we have been trying to warn  everyone about since early last year.  If we stay on our current path of increasing property taxes we will price seniors and those on fixed incomes out of their homes that they have worked all their lives to achieve.  In 2015, according to the Center for Community Solutions, 6.1% of Lake County residents over 60 years of age live in poverty, with another 7.6% living near poverty!  With our increasing property taxes it will only get worse.
