The title “Call for Commitment” in Marxist Ravenna School District Superintendent Dr. Laura Hebert’s message below, is verbatim the title of Ohio Board of Education (OBE) Res. 20 which was approved 12-5 on July 14, 2020. (Click Here to See Exactly how Res. 20 FORCES marxist indoctrination on students, teachers, staff AND parents!) If, in fact, this Call for Commitment is referring to OBE’s resolution and not a resolution passed by the Ravenna School District Board, everyone needs to know that OBE’s resolution did not make this kind of work (D,I,E) mandatory. It is optional.
The applicable paragraph in OBE Res. 20 reads, “Further resolved that the State Board of Education strongly recommends that all Ohio school districts begin a reflection and internal examination of their own involving all members of their school community to examine all facets of the school’s operations; with a special emphasis on curriculum, hiring practices, staff development practices, and student discipline e.g. suspension/expulsion; and be it…
In addition, there is nothing to my knowledge in the Ohio Revised Code or the Ohio Administrative Code that mandates this stuff. Those attending this event should be aware that their is NO REQUIREMENT to undertake this implementation of the hate based, Communist BLM/Critical Race Theory curriculum in the Ravenna School District. Dr. Hebert is doing this because she is a Marxist and supports Leftist Anti-American Agenda to indoctrinate our children to hate our great nation, and each other, and divide our communities.

Marxist Ravenna School District Superintendent, Dr. Laura Hebert, sent the message below out to all staff calling for a “Commitment” to Indoctrinate YOUR Children and Grandchildren with the hateful, racist, anti-white, anti-American, lies of Critical Race Theory. It would be appropriate for Parents and Tax Payers to attend their little meeting on September 16th and make it clear that any Administrator, Board Member, Teacher or Staff who believes this provably false nonsense and wants to inflict this destructive ideology on our children through indoctrination needs to RESIGN IMMEDIATELY and GET THE HELL OUR OF OUR SCHOOLS!
