A short meeting, led by the County Administrator, Jason Boyd, was held today at the Lake County Administration building. They discussed the strengths and weaknesses of the two companies that remain as candidates for planning and constructing the new Lake County jail. (also referred to as the Public Safety Center)

There was no mention of the cost of the new jail, how to pay for it, or what will be done with the existing jail facility. Stay tuned, we will be follow this issue for Lake County taxpayers.
