Notice of Public Hearings

 Proposed Additional County Permissive

Annual Motor Vehicle License Tax

In accordance with Section 4504.24 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Lake County Board of Commissioners herby gives notice of its desire to adopt a resolution for purposes of imposing an additional annual motor vehicle license tax on all motor vehicles the district of registration of which is located in Lake County, Ohio.

The proposed additional annual county motor vehicle license tax would consist of a $5.00 increase in motor vehicle license taxes.

Prior to adopting any resolution, the Lake County Board of Commissioners must hold two (2) public hearings thereon, and herby gives notice that it will hold these public hearings in the Chambers of the Lake County Board of Commissioners, located at 105 Main Street, 4^th Floor, Painesville, Ohio, on the proposed issuance of the additional annual county motor vehicle license tax, as follows:

Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.

 

Public Hearing #2

Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
