LFC Comments: Thanks to a Painesville lobbyist for sending us the Lake County Republican Party notice for a special Central Committee Meeting to vote for a replacement for the recently retired Commissioner Ron Young.
Dale Fellows, Chairman of the Lake County Republican Party and the Lake County Board of Elections, sent the following letter to the Central Committee members expressing his interest in filling the vacated position.
We understand that the Prosecutor’s office is reviewing the Ohio Revised Code to determine if there are any conflicts of interest with Mr. Fellows holding the Commissioner’s seat in addition to being Chairman of the Lake County Board of Elections.
