Ohio’s Attorney General vs. STRS & Target Corporation

It appears that Ohio Attorney General David Yost is not too happy with the State Teachers Retirement System. Take a look at his letter calling them out for not joining a class action lawsuit against Target’s DEI, ESG and LGBTQ+ policies that cost STRS pensions $5 million. Yost commented that he realizes $5 million is not significant when compared to the system’s multibillion dollar net worth, but they still have a fiduciary duty to promote STRS’s best interest, especially when they will not incur any out-of-pocket costs.

It begs the question: WHY THE COMPLACENCY BY STRS?
