We met with the Lake County Auditor, Ed Zupancic, and three of his employees.  We were highly impressed with Mr. Zupancic and his very capable employees.  They have a complicated task of tracking all of the real estate tax levies for all of the political sub-divisions, and ensuring that all monies are properly credited to the correct sub-division. We are amazed that they do it with a relatively small staff.

They have agreed to provide us with a comparison of real estate taxes billed in 2008 versus 2018 for every Lake County political sub-division and taxing district.  We want to be able to provide all interested Lake County residents with the facts that our ever escalating real estate taxes will price many of those residents living on fixed incomes out of their homes.  We are not on a sustainable path.
