The State legislators will be reluctant to drop the real estate taxes as a funding mechanism for the schools, because they provide some stability as a revenue source, as opposed to income or a sales tax.
It is becoming quite clear that a citizens’ “property tax revolt” is going to be needed in the State of Ohio in order to get the attention of our State legislators.
