My neighbor, the nurse, has been educating me on the benefits of medical marijuana, and I have had some experience in my family with Marinol, a synthetic form of THC (active ingredient in cannabis).   I support anything that relieves human suffering, but when politicians get involved to ensure tax revenue, it usually turns to mush, and taxpayers end up paying more taxes to fix the problem created by the politicians.
