For those citizens in the Riverside School District, we have sent an email to school officials asking if they are working on plans to cover the shortfall of the State funding. Remember that the Lake County Financing District Levy passed on the March 17th primary election, and due to the change in the allocation of the revenue Riverside should see approximately $600,000 – $700,000 in additional revenue. However, it will not offset the cut in State spending. We will report what the school officials tell us.
