Hello from CRCC!
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center is committed to supporting survivors and promoting healing and prevention in the communities we serve. In addition to utilizing telehealth, we are also making appointments for direct client services (therapy and advocacy) in-person with proper safety protocols in place.
We invite you to join our Virtual Classroom! All of our education and outreach is available remotely. Here are just a few of the topics we’re prepared to share with your community group, student group, or staff via video chat:
– Self-Care in a Time of Crisis
– Talking to your Children about Sexual Violence
– Basics of Trauma and the Brain
– Responding to Disclosure
– Sexual Violence 101
Fill out our program request form on our website to let us know what you’re looking for: https://clevelandrapecrisis.org/prevention-education/request-an-education-program/
Or, reach out to Sharon Kidd, Director of Education and Outreach, firstname.lastname@example.org, to talk about your agency’s education needs and tailor a program to fit your group.
Additionally, I wanted to let you know that I am transitioning out of my role at CRCC. It has been a pleasure to serve the community in this capacity – thank you for making it a wonderful experience! Moving forward, for your direct client services needs out of the Mentor, Ashtabula, or Chardon offices, please reach out to Kelsey Kennedy, Manager of Sexual Assault Response Teams, email@example.com. Sharon Kidd, Director of Education and Outreach, firstname.lastname@example.org, remains the best contact for education and outreach services.
