Intersectionality…what is that all about?

[LFC Comments:  Thanks to one of our Kirtland lobbyists for this article.]

This subject matter falls into the category of “the older I get, the less I know”. Do you know what “intersectionality” means in today’s lexicon?
From Wikipedia, we found this definition:

intersectionality
Intersectionality is a theoretical framework for understanding how aspects of a person’s social and political identities might combine to create unique modes of discrimination. Intersectionality identifies injustices that are felt by people due to a combination of factors.

The article states that the protest was organized by the Black Queer and Intersectional  Collective.  We have to admit that we have not heard of this group.   So what are their demands?

The full list of demands is outlined in a Facebook page for the Black Queer & Intersectional Collective.

We  will let our readers determine the appropriateness of this group’s demands.

On second thought, as we contemplate a society with their views on Utopia, we must conclude that they have their feet planted firmly in the air.  A society without jails, police,  the rule of law, and accountability for our own actions, will have us reverting to the old law of the jungle – the survival of the fittest.
