Lake County Title Bureau Reopening for Appointments

Lake County Title Bureau offices reopening for appointments

Clerk of Courts Faith Andrews…

The two branches of the Lake County Title Bureau are now open to the public by appointment only on Saturdays between the hours of 8 and 11:45 a.m.

The first Saturday available for appointments will be Jan. 30 and appointments are being accepted at this time, according to a news release from the Lake County Clerk of Courts Office.

Effective Feb. 1, the Lake County Title offices will be accepting appointments for assisting in the renewal and issuance of new passports on weekdays between the hours of 8 and 11:30 a.m. Staff have begun scheduling appointments for passport services.

“Due to the increased demand from the public and due to the challenges working families face with finding time during the week to stop by the offices, I am happy to announce that we will be reopening the title offices on Saturdays,” Lake County Clerk of Common Pleas Court Faith Andrews stated in the release. “This will offer an additional option for the public to handle their titling issues in person quickly and efficiently.

“I am also happy to announce the reopening of passport services, as we are all looking forward to traveling again for both business and pleasure.”

Guidelines for entering the county building should be followed while accessing title services, including observing distancing in all areas, the release stated. Title services can still be procured via mail and our secure drop boxes at both locations.
