A “Fan” Weighs In

LFC Comments by Brian Massie, Executive Director

Well, we say that we give a platform to those that do not have a voice so we must follow through on that promise. The following letter was received from an anonymous “fan”. He or she will have to get in a long line of complainers, and they are not the first to call me a bad Christian.

A former priest at St. John Vianney, Clyde Foster, questioned my Christianity when I wrote an article for the News-Herald about illegal immigration destroying our nation. So our anonymous “fan” is in good company. I declared Foster to be a false prophet also.

The writer has no idea how WordPress operates, so the compliant about “Contributing Writer” means absolutely nothing to me. It this writer has problems with what we write, we would suggest that he or she not read the articles. We do not want to be responsible for any adverse health issues. Regarding mask wearing, where as many masks as you think is necessary to protect yourself. Wear a hazmat suit if it makes you feel better, but do not try to make me live in your world of fear.

Whether we have one reader or a million readers the amount of money we make for our efforts to promote honesty, integrity and transparency is the same – ZERO!

This will be the last “fan” mail that we will publish if it is sent anonymously. At least have a backbone when you try to impugn someone’s reputation. Bearing false witness is certainly not a Christian principle.
