An unborn baby has its own DNA, its own genetic code, its own blood type. The child has its own functioning brain, its own functioning kidneys, and its own functioning lungs. The baby even has its own dreams. It is not the woman’s body; the baby is only residing in her body. That mother and the law have a duty to protect the life of the pre-born.
