For many years I have watched CBS, NBC and ABC news along with MSNBC and Fox and rarely CNN. I could not understand why the mainstream media news stories (CBS, NBC and ABC) were almost identical….same stories night after night except for the special interest five-minute segments.
How can this be if these networks are really competing with each other?
One would think they would try and best one another with an exclusive scoop?
But this never happened! Very disappointing to say the least! I thought someone must be coordinating the news, but who?
When Trump was president, I was amazed at the consistently negative news on all major networks about Trump despite his fantastic accomplishments. Same stories over and over, he was a spy for Russia, he was controlled by Putin etc. So, they must be true. Right?
Well, not so fast! Special Counsel John Durham investigated and Michael A. Sussmann has been indicted on a charge of making a false statementlied to the FBI that he was not working for the Clinton campaign.
Here are the exact words from court documents:
“The defendant is charged in a one-count indictment with making a materially false statement to the FBI, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001 (the “Indictment”). As set forth in the Indictment, on Sept. 19, 2016 – less than two months before the 2016 U.S. Presidential election – the defendant, a lawyer at a large international law firm (“Law Firm-1”) that was then serving as counsel to the Clinton Campaign, met with the FBI General Counsel at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The defendant provided the FBI General Counsel with purported data and “white papers” that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel between the Trump Organization and a Russia-based bank (“Russian Bank-1”). The Indictment alleges that the defendant lied in that meeting, falsely stating to the General Counsel that he was not providing the allegations to the FBI on behalf of any client. In fact, the defendant had assembled and conveyed the allegations to the FBI on behalf of at least two specific clients, including (i) a technology executive (“Tech Executive-1”) at a U.S.-based Internet company (“Internet Company1”), and (ii) the Clinton Campaign”.

WOW, the “Clinton campaign.” Wouldn’t that provoke an interview with Hillary Clinton by the mainstream media to see how much she knew about this for the record?
Oh, wait, remember when the FBI interviewed her for nine hours with no witnesses and no written transcript a few years back? Why not get a reporter down to the Internet company for an interview? In short, why didn’t the mainstream media investigate this indictment?
If it looks like a cover up, smells like a cover up, then it must be a cover up! But, what does that say for our right to know what happened? I feel like a mushroom, keep me in the dark and feed me s–t! It’s a sad day for American citizens who depend on the ‘news’ for their wellbeing! We are obviously being censored from the truth.

There is no doubt in my mind that the national TV and print media have become propagandist, akin to the Russian Pravda.
Russia controls their media, and now we see the see the same methods of control by the Ukraine government. They are saving democracy by eliminating it – that is typical 1984 doublespeak.
Investigative journalism is becoming a dying art – even at the local level. It appears that loss of potential revenue is more important than getting the truth out to the people.
