W-E Schools Prepping for Property Tax Levy in November

Thanks to Painesville Lobbyist Jim for sending this News-Herald article to us. LFC will be releasing information about HB 920, and the “20 mil floor”, and how they may impact the taxpayers of the Willoughby-Eastlake School District.

We have caught the school district several times providing incorrect information to the taxpayers. We will ensure that all information is accurate.

Committee formed to identify how to compensate for the defeat of a $4,745,186 "Emergency" levy originally passed in 2007.

Here is the Schedule A we received from the Lake County Auditor’s office. It provides the details for all property tax levies currently collected for the W-E School District. The levy in question is highlighted with “****”. [Note: Click on arrow icon to reorient the schedule.]
