The April 13, 2023 Lake County Commissioners’ meeting was well attended, and it did provide LFC with quite a few topics to explore and expose for the citizens of Lake County.

The first item is the friendly debate between Mr. Kenneth R. Gauntner, Jr , a trustee for Madison Township, and Commissioner John Plecnik.

Mr. Gauntner warned Commissioner Plecnik that his pledge of never raising taxes is one that he may not be able to keep.

Commissioner Plecnik doubled down on his “I am a hard NO, HELL NO, NEVER will I raise taxes” pledge. Listen to the two banter back and forth at the meeting.
