The Lake Commissioners, in preparation for the new $170+ million new “Public Safety Center” (read: jail), purchased the former Burger King facility on the corner of East Erie Street in downtown Painesville. It is literally across the street from the existing jail facility.
Cost: A “Whopping” $390,000…(No word on whether Burger King threw in a order of fries in the deal. They were used to “Having it their Way”!)
