Thanks to our Painesville lobbyist for sending us this article. There is a serious math education problem throughout the country. We have documented the abysmal proficiency scores throughout Lake County, Ohio school districts.
The obvious question that should be on the minds of all taxpayers: “Why has NO ONE done anything about it?” In our opinion, we see the purposeful dumbing down of the children by all involved in government schools. Those that see the problems are reluctant to say anything for fear of losing their jobs and pensions.
When parents cannot help their children with math homework because they do not understand “Common Core” math instructions, that tells you all you need to know.
