We will keep revealing how government works in Lake County. Here is the latest four minute meeting, shorter than the last six minute meeting, of the Budget Commission. Their role is to be the “watchdog” for the Lake County citizens to guard against excessive taxation by the many taxing authorities in Lake County.
These are all Republicans. We thought Republicans were for smaller government, and a more efficient government that should be accountable to the citizens.
Note to all elected Republican leaders in Lake County….We the people will not allow you to sit back and tax people out of their homes. You will all be held accountable for doing nothing. You have left the challenge to the people you represent to fight the State legislators that have forgotten the average citizen.
