Connecting With DOGE Against the FMCSA

By Brian Massie, A Watchman on the Wall

We could not let the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration slide with their lack of action on our serious complaint about the bus rented from CharterUp. An internet search provided us with the

We sent the following email to Congressman Aaron Bean and the DOGE Caucus:

Dear Congressman Aaron Bean & the DOGE Caucus,

We filed a complaint with FMCSA about a bus trip we took to Washington, D.C. on January 20th to be part of the historic inauguration ceremony.   Unfortunately, the bus used to transport us to Washington D.C. had many serious problems, and the 27 passengers were at serious risk the entire trip.

We have documented the trip, and our correspondence with FMCSA on our website LobbyistsforCitizens.com.

The following is the response we received from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s program analyst.

“Complaint has been received and appended the company record, and may be used for analytical, statistical, or enforcement purposes. This carrier has a satisfactory rating as of the last investigation. We have taken into account your complaint and will be monitored in the future. Thank you for providing information.”

Thank you,

In our opinion, they are not following their mission statement and overall strategy  to keep the citizens of the United States safe while they are passengers on buses.  A DOGE investigation seems appropriate with this agency.

We received the following response from the DOGE Caucus:

Thank you for contacting the House DOGE Caucus. The Bipartisan House DOGE Caucus works in partnership with Congress and President Trump’s United States DOGE Service to streamline government operations and save taxpayer money. The nation expects sweeping common-sense reform, and the House DOGE Caucus will work to ensure that every dollar spent in Washington delivers a direct benefit to the people it serves while prioritizing transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

We value your input and ideas on ways to help DOGE do its job. No amount of waste, fraud, abuse, duplication, or administrative bloat is too small or too large to fix. Please continue to submit your ideas at any time. We appreciate hearing from you.

We are not sure if anything will transpire because of our action. However, we are certain nothing would change if we did not even try to report these serious infraction by the bus charter companies to proper authorities.

Just in case you missed our video on the “Trip in the bus from hell”! Note the opening scene with the one headlight on the bus.
