Issue 2…Proposed Constitutional Amendment for Ohio….Again

Did you know that the Ohio Constitution has been changed 176 times….It may be more, but it has happened so often we are losing track. It seems that our State Constitution is a rather fluid document.

We were led to believe that a constitution was the rock solid foundation of the fundamental principles by which a state or any other organization acknowledged to be governed. It appears it is easier to change our constitution than have legislators agree on any new law written for the Ohio Revised Code.

On May 6th we will be asked to vote on Issue 2:

“TO FUND PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BY PERMITTING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS.”

Mark Pukita, of The Grassroots Freedom Initiative, has done a great job of summarizing Issue 2 for everyone.

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP!

2) PLEASE download THIS GRAPHIC (same as below) to your phone & send it to everyone you can, again, especially those who typically would not vote in a primary election!

It’s for $2.5B dollars with spending limits of $250,000,000 annually. Supposedly, it’s necessary for the health and well-being of Ohio’s infrastructure. We’ll bet most Ohioans haven’t heard about it and know almost nothing about it. That’s intentional. It’s taxpayer abuse. A great strategy might be to vote NO on it. Here’s why in a short video. Once you’ve watched it, please SHARE it with everyone you can!
Thank you!
