Morris Beverage III: Lake County’s Hunter Biden?… Part 1

By Contributing Writer

Morris Beverage III has been boasting that he does not need the Republican Party, claiming the Republicans have done nothing for him, publicly blasting true Conservatives who dare question the III, calling them liars.

If not the Republicans, then who has been “doing things for him”? The Democrats…

To explain… There is a growing belief that Morris Beverage III is Lake County’s Hunter Biden.

This is Part 1 of a multi-part series to explain why as Morris Beverage III becomes better known as a public figure, the Hunter Biden shoe fits.

Morris Beverage III, an unremarkable individual.

Morris Beverage III, a bully whose super power appears to be money.

To better understand who the people are that are “doing things for him”, we need to start with a closer look at the very public Beverage family and how Morris Beverage III fits in. Just like with Hunter’s laptop, very public people are a part of many very public records.

The patriarch of the Beverage family, one Morris Beverage Junior, infamous for his long history with Lakeland Community College. Now Junior Beverage, the “Big Guy” Joe Biden character, started out his “career” as the finance guy at Lakeland Community College, and this is where we will shortly begin drilling down.

The matriarch of the Beverage family, one Connie Beverage, the “Doctor Jill” if you will, living vicariously through her unremarkable son. Not so very long ago, Connie B was in the famous “Day 1” photo announcement for Morris Beverage III’s quest to become a commissioner. More on Connie B to come.

When Junior Beverage was “just the finance guy” at Lakeland, his master and chief
mentor was Dr. Ralph Doty, the liberal Democrat that came to Lake County after serving several years as a Minnesota Senator (D). This is where the dark art of blending finance and politics came together for Junior Beverage’s rise to power (and the toppling of an iconic Lake County educational institution).

With Junior Beverage at the controls of Lakeland Community College, patronage was taken to an artform. For example, liberal Democrat and former Congressman Dennis Eckart was given a sweetheart contract to receive $1,500 per month continuously on August 22, 2006. That’s 17 ½ years, 212 consecutive months, totaling $318,000 of our tax money. And for what? Good question. Aside from some speaking engagements at Lakeland events, good luck finding out what the work product was from Dennis Eckart. Good luck asking for a copy of the contract because after Junior Beverage left as the President of the College, this was one of the documents that is in “offsite storage”, as if Lakeland has a secure bunker somewhere deep in the woods behind the college. Dennis Eckart does, however, serve on the board of the Lakeland Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) with about $11 million dollars in total assets to play with. I’m sure Junior Beverage and Dennis found a way to square the ethics and transparency, conflict of interest policy on this one. More on the Lakeland Foundation to come.

Just like with the Biden family, following the money and the public records is eye
opening, to say the least. $318,000 is a good starting point.

LFC Editorial Comments by Brian Massie:

We have sent several public records requests to Lakeland Community College dealing with Dennis Eckart, D.B.A. North Shore Associates.

Here is one of the invoices from Dennis E. Eckart and a check to North Shore Associates, LLC.

Page 21 of Lakeland’s Retention Policy says:

“Contracts: records related to obligations under contracts, leases, and other agreements between the College and outside parties. Includes contracts for services, purchases and sales, transportation, leases, property, etc. Includes government contracts, grants, and records required to be kept until government audit. Retention “Active +5 years”.

Thus, Lakeland Community College must keep all contracts, including the contract with North Shore Associates for active + 5 years.

Here is the contract between Lakeland and North Shore Associates, LLC:

Stay tuned…as we pull back the curtain on the cast of players in this melodrama. We will next introduce the “Jen Saki” of this sordid tale.
