Cursive Writing….not needed at Riverside

cursive writing

I must admit that I was aghast, yes filled with horror and shock I tell you, when I learned from a very reliable source that the Riverside school district [Lake County, Ohio] does not teach cursive writing to the school children.

We are calling out the Riverside school board and the administration for this irresponsible action, and we will contact them to determine who made this bone-headed decision.

So it is acceptable to the school board that the children will no longer be able to read any document written in cursive, and “signing” their name with an “X” is acceptable to the Riverside school board and the administration.

SHAME ON RIVERSIDE SCHOOL BOARD FOR SELLING OUT THE CHILDREN OF YOUR DISTRICT.

FORGET YOUR IDEAS OF SPENDING $100+ MILLION OF TAXPAYERS’ MONEY ON A NEW SCHOOL WHEN YOU CANNOT EVEN TEACH THE CHILDREN HOW TO WRITE THEIR OWN NAME.
