This office represents the Tuscarawas County Treasurer’s Office under the authority of R.C. 309.09.

I am responding on behalf of the Treasurer’s Office to your July 14, 2020, 8:24 p.m., email.  The Common Pleas Court General Trial Division Judges do not post bond.  See the attached research material.  Thus, the bonds are not in the possession of the Court Administrator or the Treasurer’s Office.  I believe you already have the oaths in your possession.  Accordingly, there is no violation of R.C. 3.30.

Please note that the chart provided by the Treasurer’s Office summarizes the bonds which are required to be filed in the Treasurer’s Office.
