In Lake County, Ohio we have many businesses that are ignoring the medical exemption and insisting that all their customers wear a mask.

My personal reply to a local hardware store [Crile Hardware, Concord Township, Ohio] that handed me a mask upon entering, was that they have lost my business forever. They have the right to run their business as they see fit, but we have the right not to support them. Let’s see who blinks first!

Comment: RE: Mask Mandates

I live in the State of Florida where there is NO mask mandate. However, many Florida counties are still requiring a mask including the one I reside in, Seminole County.

My county and the local businesses do not recognize that our Governor did not pose a mask mandate and we are forced to wear masks. The gym I go to actually has people arrested for non-compliance.

I have asked about laws or rules regarding people who are medically exempt and have been told there is no law or rule to accommodate the medically exempt. Can the government and businesses legally force a medically exempt person to wear a mask in a state with no such law mandated by the Governor?

If not, what legal recourse do I have? Is there a person or agency I can/should contact that can give me direction as to what my legal rights are so that I can exercise my constitutional right to not wear a mask without being arrested for non-compliance?

I have two medical exemptions;
1. PTSD from being raped
2. Breathing issues due to a medical condition.

I know many people even those without a health condition would like answers as well.
