Cincinnati community activist, Mr. Chris Hicks, addresses the Ohio School Board about his “Contract with the District” for school board members.
Here are the questions that Mr. Hicks developed. Please note that the Ohio School Board will not let anyone talk about questions #6 and #8. Why will they not talk about Critical Race Theory, 1619 Project, and Social Emotional Learning?
Mr. Hicks is correct in saying that the State of Ohio School Board is violating the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution by not allowing discussion of all topics.
Lobbyists for Citizens is working on a variation of this “Contract with the District” that will be sent to all existing Lake County School Board members and those that are running for a school board seat. All responses will be published, and non-responses will be made known before the November 2021 election.
