We have been made aware that the Lake County Prosecutor’s office has notified the Lake County Commissioners that they are contemplating another real estate tax levy to be placed on the ballot in May, 2018.  (Note: We are having trouble keeping up with all the requests for more taxpayer money.)

We have sent the attached letter to the Prosecutor’s Office requesting justification for any renewal or increase in our real estate taxes.  We will report on the website when we get the information.
