Biography:  James (JR) Harrison

James Harrison is first a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, veteran, business owner, and author of the soon to be published book “Roman’s II” which draws eerie parallels between the former Roman Empire and what is happening in America today. In his book and various articles James follows mankind through the lens of the family and as he correctly notes in his writings, ” History is the story of families, the stronger the family the better the ending“.

Mr. Harrison or JR as he has become known in the activist community is the founding director of the Natural Family Foundation whose mission is to restore the family to its proper form, structure and place in today’s America.  For the last nine years he has also hosted a Saturday morning podcast appropriately titled “Last Call”.  He has hosted guests to include  Bill Federer, Cal Thomas ,Dr. Kent Hovind, James Simpson ( The Red/Green Axis), Neil Mammon ( Jesus was involved in Politics),  J-6 Patriots, Sheriff Mack,  IOTC/s Jake MacAuly,  Mychal Massie, Mason Weaver ,Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Tennessee Senator Mark Pody, and a host of others.

When it comes to his podcast,  JR is more interested in doers than listeners and looking for those that are more willing to “light the candle than curse the darkness”.  The Last Call program is appropriately labeled as  “Christian talk radio with a sting”   Reality radio with the emphasis on REAL.  No smoke, no mirrors “just the facts ma’am. ”  To honor his Christian mother Mr. Harrison uses the host nom de plume of BJ Edwards.

Mr. Harrison also helped form the  Minutemen United ministry where he  spent 15 years trying to wake the pastor’s up in hopes that they would start motivating their congregations to engage in the culture. As part of that exercise several “Minutemen” spent 10 months outside one of Ohio’s largest churches (Vineyard) carrying signs and talking to church leaders and parishioners about their critical role in society.

The end result of this outreach was that when the church discovered that the modern day minutemen and women were not only serious but committed, Vineyard took them to court and through a friendly judge, got a restraining order against them!.  No right away access, no freedom of speech, just stay away from our church Christians . . . thank you very much.  Imagine, the church restraining the church!  Amazing.   Here is a link to an article regarding that outreach.

The Natural Family ministry – www.naturalfamilystrong.com  became a natural outgrowth of the Minutemen United projectJR believes that “as goes the church so goes the nation” and as goes the pastors so goes the church. That being said, if the family is broken does it really matter what else you try to fix – the church notwithstanding? As long as the family is broken you can’t fix the church or for that matter any other institution in society without this solid foundation – a foundation which by design and from the beginning was the family.

The remaining factor is the family’s place in society. In short the family in today’s America is no longer at the head of the institutional table and in many cases not even there.  The other institutions in society are telling the family what “to be or not to be” which leaves our society with the tail wagging the dog. This being done while ignoring the fact that:

As goes the family, so goes the church, and as goes the church so goes the nation“.

In HIS name

James JR Harrison
