Senior Day 2026 at the Lake County Fair
Seniors to be celebrated on Friday, July 31 ST
[July 22, 2026 – Mentor, OH] – Senior Day at the Lake County Fair 202 will continue the celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary at the Lake County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors age 60 or older will enjoy free admission to the Fair from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Admission gates, complimentary transportation to the Fair for seniors courtesy of Laketran (call Laketran to schedule – funded by the Senior Services Levy), and a free boxed lunch provided by the Lake County Council on Aging.
The celebration includes America 250 th Trivia, Lake County Trivia presented by the Lake County Historical Society at 11:15 a.m. and musical entertainment by DJ Jesse Webb 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Live entertainment during lunch by Flashbaxx will share some of America’s most loved musical hits.
Commissioner Plecnick and Judge DeLeone return to call Bingo beginning at 1pm to close out the senior day festivities.
A limited number (350) of boxed lunches will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Lunch tickets can be obtained on the day of the event, Friday, July 31 st , at the table being managed by Council on Aging in front of the Senior Day tent. Each lunch offers a tasty summer picnic menu and provides one-third of the recommended daily nutritional value. Lunch will be served at Noon to seniors with
meal tickets seated at tables and from the Council on Aging table for those with meal tickets who wish to take their meal To Go. Meals not served by 12:10 will be available to the next senior at the Council on Aging table.
After lunch, join the fun of bingo starting at 1 p.m. where winners will receive exciting prizes. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
In addition to the festivities, guests can connect with local senior-focused organizations including University Hospitals, Laketran and Lake County Council on Aging to receive helpful information and resources available. Please stop by each table in front of the senior day tent.
