Are the political sub-divisions now out of control in Lake County. Can the private sector continue to pay for public services?
We have further reviewed the facts and figures behind the 6.5 mill Safety Levy on the November 7th ballot for Concord Township.
This is a WARNING to all Lake County homeowners. Beware of the 30%+ increases in property values that will occur in 2024.

California politicians are attacking property taxes again.
The use of the 1982 “alternate formula” for the distribution of the Local Government Funds tells us that a “storm is brewing” in Lake County.
The Budget Commission is no longer the watchdog for taxpayers on excessive taxation thanks to Prosecutor Coulson’s ruling.
Lake County, Ohio schools brought in almost $492 million in revenue and produced an average 60.2% proficiency score!
Will the newly found missing pages change Prosecutor Coulson’s opinion on the validity of the Alternate Formula for the local government funds distributions?
The prospects of building the new Public Safety Center (read: Jail) will take a bite out of the investments. However, watch the local political subdivisions continue to ask for more property taxes.
Do not worry…its only money…It grows on trees in Concord Township…or so I’m told…
Reduced enrollment, increased number of teachers and administrators, lower proficiency scores, promoting a perverse political ideology, pornographic books in the schools, and they want you to pay more property taxes.
The State of Ohio does not take “their cut” of local property taxes.

They want us to spend $300 million on a new jail, but they do not really want us to “pull back the curtain” on them. Game on!
What is a mil, inside versus outside millage, appraised versus assessed values, continuous levies?
