Voter Registration…..we need more voters!

Posted by

After analyzing the age range of voters in Lake County, we concluded that nothing in Lake County should happen without the voters aged 50 and over wanting it to happen.  67% of voters are 50+ years of age.

Here is a schedule of Lake County Registered Voters by municipality:
Lake County Voters 11-7-17

We need to register more people over 50 years of age because they are the ones that will be most affected by the increasing property taxes.

In speaking to the Board of Election officials today, there is another reason to register as many “older” citizens as possible.  With the tragedy of the school shootings, those groups that have an intense desire to eliminate the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, are mobilizing the young people of voting age to register to vote with the expressed desire to eliminate the 2nd Amendment.  We need to counter-act that strategy by registering just as many seniors, who presumably understand the need to protect our 2nd Amendment rights granted to us in our Constitution.

If you know of anyone that is not registered, please have them complete a Voter Registration form.  Here is the link on the Lake County Board of Elections website for the Registration form:

The instructions I received from the Board of Election official was that questions       #1 “Are you a U.S. Citizen”, and #2 “Will you be at least 18 years of age”, must be completed or the form will NOT be processed.  You may highlight those questions, to ensure that the voter remembers to complete those important questions.

You can also complete the registration on-line. Here is the link:

If you want to see if you are a registered voter here is a link.  It also give your voting history.

I asked if the Board of Elections verified if the individual is actually a U.S. Citizen. The answer was NO.  I asked if illegal aliens could get a driver’s license using their Mexican Matricula Card, and then the driver’s license used as a form of voter identification.  The answer is YES.  However, I was told that the illegal aliens know that if they vote in a U.S. Election they are “subject” to deportation.

(Comment: So, in reality, we have no absolute proof that the individual is a U.S. citizen. I would like to remind everyone that we can blame Commissioner Dan Troy for this debacle, because he was the Commissioner that introduced legislation to the Commissioners at the time – Commissioner Sines. and Commissioner Aufuldish in 2005.  When Troy was asked what was the purpose of the card, he referred to it as simply a “goodwill gesture”.  In my opinion, he sold out the Lake County citizens so that the nursery owners could get cheap labor with the average citizen picking up the tab for their education and welfare costs.  I do not need to remind everyone that we also lost a Concord resident at the hands of an illegal alien.)
