Lakeland Community College….they need another $40 million of your money.

The Lakeland Community College Board of Directors wants to continue taking money from Lake County taxpayers.  We asked for the public records on their .4 mill bond levy they will place on the ballot in November.  Here is what we received:
20180329 Resolution 03-18 Resolution Declaring Necessity of Bond Issue NTE 40 M and to Submit the Question of Such Bond Issue to the Electors

BOARD OF ELECTIONS N0VEMBER 6_ 2018 RECEIPT OF COLLEGE RESOLUTIONS

ISSUES FILED FOR NOVEMBER 6, 2018 GENERALMinutes 2018 03 29

Please note that all of the Board of Directors approved this resolution.  This is the same college and board of directors that felt it was necessary to approximately double their charges to local school districts for high school students taking college credits through Lakeland Community College.    They have no shame. We do not believe that they are very community minded individuals, but rather driven by the profit motive, and favor illegal aliens over U.S.  citizens with their pricing.

We are going to do everything we can do defeat this levy.  We cannot let them drive Lake County seniors out of their homes.
