Vaccines….the good, bad, and can we decide?

We attended a meeting last week where the featured speakers were well meaning patriots with a group known as Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom.

Their literature states that they are a “non-partisan group advocating for your right to freely accept or decline any medical treatment or procedure”.

They are very concerned about the government and employers mandating that all children and employees must be vaccinated according to ever-changing government protocols.

For example, in 1962 it was only mandatory for children to receive three doses of vaccines – Polio, Smallpox, DTP.  In 1983, the total doses increased to 24, and in 2016 the mandated doses increased to 72.  In 2018, we see employers mandating that health care workers must have the flu vaccine, and they see that mandate spreading throughout other industries.

Their mission is to protect  the individual’s and parental rights to control their own body and that of their children.  They provide factual and current information about legislation that either threatens or protects informed consent and medical freedom.

Here is their brochure explaining who they are:   OAMF – Who are they

Here is their flyer “Say NO to mandatory vaccinations”.      Mandatory Vacinations

Another flyer on “Should I Vaccinate?” :         OAMF brochure

They were also very concerned about the use of “aborted fetal cell line” used in the production of certain pharmaceutical products:   Aborted Fetal Cell Line Products

We spent some time discussing the flu vaccine, and whether we should we take it each year.  Did you know that you can ask your doctor or health clinic to provide you with the manufacturer’s specification BEFORE you accept the shot.  If you look at item #13 Nonclinical Toxicology. [it is always #13- not sure why]  It should state whether or not that particular flu virus has been evaluated for carcinogenic, or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility.

Here is an example of the influenza virus vaccine known as Fluvirin….note #13:   Number 13

(LFC Comments:  This is a very sensitive subject, and we have mixed emotions about this topic.  We did find some interesting websites:

Bill Gates has released a website that shows what would happen if a similar flu pandemic of 1918 occurred today.

Anyone want to bet that Mr. Gates has some financial interests in vaccines somewhere along the way?

Please remember that this is the same Bill Gates that pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into Common Core standards for public schools and rammed it down our throats.

And, by the way, Mr. Gates has “fallen on his sword” and said that Common Core has not worked!!!!!   (highlight and ‘right click’)

Although we have seen the average life expectancy increase dramatically, no doubt in part to our advancements in medicine, our concern is that we see the big pharma special interest lobbyists influencing our politicians with money.  They may be interested in their “bottom line”, but unwittingly cause collateral damage in the population.  The Federal National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 says that manufacturers and doctors are not liable for damages or deaths from vaccines.  How convenient – they can produce a product without being held responsible for the results.

As ardent proponents of freedom and liberty, we say that the parents and the individuals should decide on vaccinations.  However, be aware that as we continue to polarize as a society, we may see significant segregation based on vaccinations status.  The expression “the haves and the have nots” will take on a whole different meaning.  We must be sure that home schooling is always permitted, so that parents are in charge of their children and not the State.)
