The “hats in the ring” are starting to pile up…..

Good Evening Dale and members of the Lake GOP / Central Committee Review Team:

The retirement / resignation of Edward Zupancic certainly leaves large shoes to fill here in LakeCounty – he has been a tremendous and long-serving asset to our county.  As an elected member of a taxing board here at Riverside School District, I can truly say that the impartial and objective services provided by the auditor’s office are extremely valuable to communities and agencies.  Mr. Zupancic’s staff and department have always been well-regarded and well respected.

His services will be missed, but these large shoes must be filled.  To that end, I am attaching my resume and professional certifications and submitting this email as a letter of formal interest in the Lake County Auditor position that will be up for appointment later in March.

I feel very qualified – as my past and current professional background and first-hand interactions with Geauga County auditor’s office (as the Ledgemont School District Treasurer) and my secondary interactions through my position on the Riverside School Board have given me many insights on the important work provided by the auditor’s office.

I’m sure the intricacies of the job and the demands are great, but my familiarity with processes would be highly beneficial. I am certainly no stranger to large entity finance, and the county would be no exception to that experience.  I would be honored to serve the people of the county and provide them with the best possible service – as they have already come to expect.
