Clear The Air Forum: The First Energy Bailout

House Bill 6 is being sold as an incentive and economic development package that creates a ‘Clean Air’ program, but in reality it is a corporate welfare package that is designed to benefit one of Ohio’s largest companies.

First Energy Solutions and its sister entities have spent over $3 million dollars influencing legislators and legislation in the Ohio State House to create a bill that would enrich their organization with $150 million taxpayer dollars.

It’s no wonder that 83% of Americans now believe that well connected companies and individuals play by a different set of rules when presented with rampant corporate cronyism like this!

Micah Derry, State Director For Americans For Prosperity Ohio, will demonstrate how this taxpayer funded corporate handout will hurt Lake County and all of Ohio and will share with you how we can stop this bill before it becomes law.

The Clear The Air Forum will be hosted by The Lake County Liberty Coalition, The Tax Working Group, and Americans For Prosperity-Ohio at the Auburn Career Center from 6:30-8:30 pm in Concord Ohio.
