Exodus 20:13…all life is sacred

“It’s A Matter of Life…”

Abortion is not “sad” or “tragic”. It is monstrous and outrageous. It is not simply killing another human being. It is murder and the distinction is clear. The command from scripture in the original language actually says “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). The Hebrew word for “murder” literally means “the intentional, premeditated killing of another person with malice.”

That is a perfect description of the grisly act of abortion. It is not something to lament. It is not something a decent society should control through its laws, it  is something to work tirelessly to abolish.

(LFC Opinion: We agree with the “Anonymous One”, we cannot legislate morality.  The founders of our country stated that “Our Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.”

In deference to lobbyist Dave, we thought we should also provide the KJV version of Exodus 20:13: “Thou shalt not kill”.  In our opinion, it still conveys the same message – all life is sacred.)
