Memorial to Laura T. Pizmoht
Today, we dedicated the Laura T. Pizmoht Memorial Boardroom at Laketran’s Headquarters in Painesville Township.
All of Lake County owes a great debt of gratitude to Laura for her service as a Laketran Trustee. Laura was a great leader and an amazing human being.
Prior to her passing, Laura personally led the effort to rebuild Laketran’s Headquarters and expand their garage. Without Laura, it would not have happened. Without Laura, we could never have expanded Dial-a-Ride for our seniors, disabled veterans, and those most in need.
We are also deeply grateful to Laura’s beloved husband Michael Pizmoht for continuing her important work as Laketran Trustee with the same spirit of love and public service.
