We received the following flyer from a Sandusky circulator. It appears that the local Republican Party is starting the fearmongering early. They are asking citizens not to sign our petition and vote NO on the Constitutional Amendment.
This amendment is a non-partisan amendment, and we have been trying to keep it non-partisan. However, we are going to call out everyone that does not publicly support this citizens lead initiative petition, regardless of political party. The ONLY political party that has told the Committee that they support the citizens led initiative 100% is the Ohio Libertarian Party. They are helping us collect signatures.
Here is the email I received from the Sandusky patriot:
Attached is flier being circulated by our elected officials (Commissioners and others), many in our Republican party at our county fair, other Township officials too. Like I stated my friend would like to know if this is legal and what we can do to stop it. Truth be known, these are most likely printed on taxpayers dollar. She has contacted our local prosecutor who is working on it also.
I am grossly disappointed in our Republican party, along with Gary Click (our State Representatives)at the level of push back on our grassroots effort.
Let’s start reporting those officials that have signed the citizens’ petition and those that are opposed to it.
These elected officials have signed the petition and support the citizens of the State of Ohio. These are the defenders of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They believe that home ownership is the foundation of freedom and liberty. They do not want citizens to just be renters from the government.

Tex Fischer (R – District 45)
Jennifer Gross (R-District 45)
These elected officials have opposed the citizens led initiative to abolish Ohio property taxes, and support the donor class rather than the average citizens in the State of Ohio.
Gary Click (R- District 88)
